Future Face of Enterprise Debate

We are kick-starting a discussion on the Future Face of Enterprise. What do you think it will look like in the Creative Industries?

Each new generation develops entrepreneurial ideas based on its experiences and aspirations. We asked a selection of leading creative practitioners, academics and business people on what they thought would define the future face of enterprise in the creative industries.

Please join the debate and see your response on this website. Let us know what you think in 300 words and email them to phillippa@makeyourmark.org.uk along with your name, job title, organisation, and picture.

Sir George Cox

"In today’s world the businessperson (or for that matter, politician or civil servant) who doesn’t understand the role of creativity is at a loss. And that is equally true of the creative specialist who doesn’t harness enterprise to his or her skills."

Annika Small, CEO, Futurelab

"New Communities are springing up every day, making use of new technologies to create and share their own music, films and games. Enterprise is a contact sport and technology is providing a great playing field"

This consultation process is contributing to a wider debate on the future face of enterprise that our policy team is working on.
