Where your money goes

Photo of SolangeThe money raised through Sport Relief is spent by Comic Relief to help vulnerable people in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, like 10 year old Solange from Brazil.  She has to work on a very dangerous rubbish dump, where there are rats and scorpions. Solange and her family hardly have enough to eat and live a really difficult life.  Sport Relief cash is at work supporting a project that helps Solange by providing a safe place to play, have a shower and get a hot meal. Thanks to the project, Solange is about to start school for the first time and is looking forward to a brighter future.
